Associate

An Associate is an entry-level consultant, for whom responsibilities typically range from research and quantitative and qualitative analysis to all aspects of project deliverable creation. Associates have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and, in some cases, prior relevant work experience.

Senior Associate

A Senior Associate is responsible for leading one or more work streams of an individual project. Senior Associates have mastered core consulting skills such as analytics, research and oral and written communications. They can be relied upon to strategize, plan, and execute nearly all tactical tasks as well as contribute to project-level strategy and management. A Senior Associate’s consulting experience typically ranges from three – four years of experience.

Manager

A Manager is responsible for independently leading and managing client teams of various sizes on projects of moderate complexity. Managers have been involved in or led the full lifecycle of a project, from scoping and analysis to phased implementation. Managers are versed in multiple functional areas, and typically have four to eight years of experience.

Principal

A Principal serves as the day-to-day lead or subject matter expert for a set of concurrent, complex projects. Principals are seasoned consultants with one or more functional areas of expertise and over eight years of managerial experience. A Principal also has a broad range of skills related to integrating the disciplines of strategy, process, technology, and organization.

Director

A Director is responsible for managing the overall client relationship and serving as a trusted advisor for a portfolio of large, complex client engagements. Projects tend to be interdependent, with transformational objectives driven by executive or C-level management. Directors also have broad industry or functional subject matter expertise, and are at the forefront of leading practices.

Career Development Program (CDP)

The Career Development Program (CDP) is a three year program designed for recent college graduates who have decided to begin their career with Novantas. The primary goal of the program is to help associates learn the core craft skills necessary to become a successful consultant, receive one-on-one guidance from a Partner advisor and choose a career path that will assist them in reaching their personal goals.
