The Firm's consulting services are focused on issues of revenue strategy, which we describe as "customer science." Customer science encompasses the disciplines of defining, building, managing and measuring revenue-generating capabilities – branding, market mix management, segmentation, product design, pricing, distribution management, sales execution effectiveness, and customer experience. We work with clients to develop these customer-focused strategies, and provide strategy implementation and information services to help clients measure and maximize competitive positioning.

Increasingly, Novantas is sought after to expand its service offering to other industry sectors where expertise in customer sciences is critical. For example, our insights in pricing, strategy, sales effectiveness and marketing have been sought by clients in travel & entertainment and air travel. Our customer experience expertise has been sought by clients in industries as varied as utilities, gaming, and online services. We serve clients primarily in North America and Western Europe.   • Price Elasticity of Demand. Our work focuses on developing a deep understanding of how pricing affects individual consumer behavior. We provide services ranging from pricing strategies to individual customer elasticity scoring. We help clients optimize pricing (fees and rates) by region and product to improve acquisition, account growth and retention, at the lowest interest cost.
  • Demand-based Distribution. We help banks develop demand-focused distribution systems. We score the bank's regional markets for competitiveness and inherent potential to help prioritize resource allocations. We evaluate distribution capabilities and implement programs to drive new customer traffic, increase customer engagement, and help close sales. We determine outlet distribution based on external factors (market opportunity) and internal factors (network equity).
  • Customer Experience. Our focus is on designing a well-defined, measurable and deliverable customer sales and service experience, consistent with the organization's culture and employee skill set. The experience is rooted in the company's market positioning and customer objectives, based on the value-to-cost of the experience events.   • Marketing Mix Strategy: We model the optimum mix of expenditures on marketing spend by quantifying the payoff from each category of expense. We answer questions such as: How should the next dollar be spent: Rate promotion, advertising, branch hours, more/different staffing, more infrastructure?
