Ron Mazursky Joins Novantas, Veteran Consultant will Focus on Cards and Payments

NEW YORK – Novantas LLC, the leading provider of management consultancy and information services to the financial services industries, today announced the addition of Ronald G. Mazursky, formerly a Director at Edgar Dunn & Co.

Mazursky has been named a Managing Director at Novantas and will join the Firm's Payments practice. He will be based in the company's New York headquarters.

With more than 20 years of consulting and executive experience in the payments industry, Mazursky brings a wealth of expertise to Novantas. He has worked with major financial services companies in North and South America, Europe and Asia, in areas such as product development, joint ventures and partnering, new account acquisition, portfolio management and market segmentation.

"Ron is an industry leader in the field of cards and payments, and his insights will be invaluable to our U.S. and international clients who are active in this vital area of financial services," said Dave Kaytes, a Managing Director at Novantas. For more than a decade, Mazursky was the head of Card Associates, a payments industry consultancy specializing in financial services marketing and strategy. Earlier, he held a variety of executive positions at MasterCard and JPMorgan Chase & Co.

An oft–quoted expert in consumer financial services, Mazursky is a frequent speaker at payment industry conferences, as well as a published author. He earned an MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Experimental Psychology from Binghamton University.
