Matthew Josefowicz Joins Novantas; Research and Consulting Expert will Focus on Technology and Operations in the Insurance Industries

NEW YORK – Novantas LLC, the leading provider of management consultancy and information services to the financial services industries, today announced the addition of Matthew Josefowicz, formerly the Managing Director of the insurance practice at Celent LLC, a research and consulting firm focused on the application of information technology in financial services.

Josefowicz has been named a Director at Novantas and will join the firm's insurance practice. He will be based in the company's New York headquarters.

Over the last seven years, Josefowicz established Celent's insurance practice and became a trusted advisor to C–level operations and technology executives. His expertise ranges from multi–billion–dollar global companies to small regional carriers, and spans the life/annuity and property/casualty industries.

He is an oft-quoted expert on industry issues and a frequent presenter at leading conferences on insurance technology strategy and best practices. His recent appearances include conferences and client events in the United States, London, China and Japan.

Josefowicz graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University. Prior to launching the insurance practice at Celent, he was with hedge fund D.E. Shaw & Co., L.P.
