Kenneth Alverson Joins Novantas; Veteran Consultant Brings Broad Expertise in Strategic Planning and Operations

NEW YORK – Novantas LLC, the leading provider of management consultancy and information services to the financial services industries, today announced the addition of Kenneth Alverson, a leading consultant in financial services with more than 20 years of high-level experience in banking. Most recently he was a vice president at First Manhattan Consulting Group, New York.

Alverson has been named a Managing Director at Novantas and will be based in the Firm’s New York office. Skilled in strategic planning, operations, capital markets and risk management, Alverson will work with a variety of Novantas practice areas, including mortgage banking and consumer credit, banking operations, payments and balance sheet management.

“With an extensive background as a financial services executive, Ken Alverson brings deep expertise and a pragmatic management orientation that will serve our clients well,” said Dave Kaytes, a Managing Director at Novantas.

Prior to First Manhattan, Alverson was a managing director at ABN AMRO Inc.; earlier he was chief administrative officer at American Home Mortgage; and still earlier he was a partner at Deloitte Consulting LLP, focusing on financial services strategy. At the start of his career he spent 15 years with Chemical Banking Corp., one of the predecessor institutions now combined into JP Morgan Chase & Co.

Alverson is an accomplished speaker and has been featured at major conferences sponsored by the Mortgage Bankers Association and the Banking Information Technology Secretariat. He also has served on the regional advisory board of the Federal National Mortgage Association.

He earned an M.B.A in Finance from the Fordham University Graduate School of Business and also graduated Cum Laude with a B.B.A. in Finance from State University of New York at Albany.
