Henry “Hank” Israel Joins Novantas; Expert will focus on Building Bank Revenues through Innovation

NEW YORK – Novantas LLC, the leading provider of management consultancy and information services to the financial services industries, today announced the addition of Henry “Hank” Israel, a bank consulting and research expert with deep experience in payments and retail banking.
Most recently, Israel was Managing Principal of Liquidity Products for Fiserv Inc., continuing in a career progression that included predecessors CheckFree Corp. and Carreker Corp. He has been named a Director at Novantas and will be based in the Firm’s New York office.
Israel will focus on helping banks to grow revenues, with special emphasis on developing innovative products, improving the retention of fee-intensive customer relationships, and refining pricing strategies. He is an industry leader in developing checking product and service charge strategies that help to retain valuable accounts and improve brand loyalty.

Prior to FiServ, Israel was Vice President of Commercial Studies for Global Concepts Inc.; a Systems Engineer at the former Mercator Software Inc.; and a Specialist at Ceridian Corp. focusing on electronic data interchange (EDI). He started his career at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, where he contributed to the design of the Fed’s current automated clearinghouse (ACH) infrastructure, as well as the settlement process for the IRS’ Electronic Federal Tax Payment System.
Israel earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Haverford College, Pennsylvania, and also conducted post-graduate studies in Business at Georgia State University.
