Money Market Funds are big opportunity for Banks to gain a short-term competitive advantage. Banks should compete on price for this “tomorrow money.” Banks need to reposition money market deposits away from “today money” in the eyes of the consumer, and make it “tomorrow money” that is invested and saved for long term.
