Customers trust their financial advisors to invest their hard-earned savings and plan for their future. For generations, the customer-advisor relationship has been established through one-on-one personal interactions. Fast-forward to today: customers are increasingly comfortable with, and in some cases prefer using, digital channels to manage their investments. Furthermore, with new regulations, bank advisor programs are investigating lower cost-to-serve and consistent advisor models. This presentation will review key insights from recent research designed to:
a) assess customers’ appetite for Robo-Advice and
b) understand retail banks’ opportunity to compete in the space.
